Hello,
I would like to implement a CAN controller on the PRU of an AM335X product. This implementation would be independent from and operating in parallel with the IP cores/ASICs that facilitate the existing CAN controllers included within the AM335X SoC. The goal is to modify and extend a standards compliant CAN controller state machine for research purposes.
A) Is the AM335X PRU capable of hosting a CAN controller?
B) Is it possible to license any of TI's existing CAN controller designs in an editable format that works on a AM335X PRU?
