Linux/TDA2EVM5777: Getting EndOfFile Notification from nullSrc Link

Hi,

We have Vision SDK version 03_03_00_00 running on TDA2x EVM.
Vision SDK Image was built keeping MAKECONFIG as 'tda2xx_evm_linux_all' in Linux+BIOS mode.

I'm trying to run a tidl-alg use-case with nullSrc input from A15.
From nullSrc code, I understand that even after EOF is reached, rewind is done and there is no exit criteria.

From the testing perspective, my use-case needs to be run with good number of input videos. For which I need a EOF notification to re-start the usecase with different input files.

Kindly let me know if there is a way to get the EOF

please modify \vision_sdk\links_fw\src\hlos\links_a15\nullSrc\nullSrcLink_tsk.c, function name NullSrcLink_fillData() by commenting out to disable auto rewind feature
rewind(pObj->fpDataStream[channelId]);
rewind(pObj->fpIndexFile[channelId]);

Hi Shiju,
Tried by commenting the above lines of code (nullSrcLink_tsk.c, Line 182, 183).
I didnt see any change in behavior. The rewind feature is still On

Hi Uday,

Instead of commenting out line number 182 & 183,

Could you please comment out line number 220 (rewind call in case SYSTEM_BUFFER_TYPE_BITSTREAM) in nullSrcLink_tsk.c file & check?

Once you reached EOF you need to write down a logic to handle next frame, otherwise it will assert.
