Linux/AM5728: SPI communication

Hi,

I am using two ADC's which communicate with processor using SPI. i have connected SPI3 of processor to ADC's. CS0 for one ADC and CS1 for another ADC. I want to access them.what is the command to access them?how they are enumerated in /dev ?

Hi Vijay,

Do you use AM57x TI PSDK? Which version?

Hi,

I am using ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-04.03.00.05.

Sir, I want to know how two slaves connected to same SPI bus are enumerated in /dev directory. And i want to access them using terminal without using test program.

Vijay,

The ADC slaves should appear in /dev as:

/dev/spidev3.0
/dev/spidev3.1

If you need to access them from user space, you can use spidev. Refer to the below pointers for more info and example configuration:
