Dear sirs,

I am trying to use the PRU feature of your excellent OMAP-L137, and I have some questions:

is the documentation I can find at processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Programmable_Realtime_Unit the only actual documentation available online?
is there any C examples I can check for PRU usage on OMAP-L137?
does the PRU on OMAP-L137 differ from the one on OMAP-L138 or are they identical?

Hi,

1. Besides the link you mention, you can refer to these wiki links:

2. In the above link there are C examples for Linux & RTOS, have a look at them
3. Yes, the PRU modules are identical in the TI devices.

I am currently using CCS 6.2.0.00050 under Linux.

Attached you can find the ccs configuration info copied from the window "Help - Installation Details - Configuration".

Hi, Yordan!

Currently, I am able to load from CCS a program into the PRU of my OMAP L137 and debug it.
I had to set the silicon version different from the default value of 3, change the autointialization model to RAM and some other tricks, but now my application runs smooth!
