Hi,

I have IMX390 sensor which can support following FULL HD output modes:

HDR (PWL12) - RAW12
HDR (PWL20) - RAW20
HDR Uncompressed (UC20) - RAW20
HDR Uncompressed (UC24)- RAW24

I know ISP can handle HDR (PWL12) images. My questions are:

Can ISP handle HDR (PWL20) format? If yes, can you give me short guidelines what changes are required in ISS framework to support this?
Can ISP handle uncompressed HDR format (20 or 24 bit)? If yes, can you give me short guidelines what changes are required in ISS framework to support this? How to choose whether to use PWL decompression or not. I can't find anything about that on TRM I have.
I want to change coordinates for PWL decompression curve on ISP side. Where they are located in ISS framework?

Hi Stefan,

ISP does not support more than 16bit input. Also i think even CAL does not support RAW20 bit format, you need to bring it as two RAW10 bit input.

Hi Stefan,

There is a decompanding module in IPIPEIF module of ISP, It supports both PWL and LUT based decompanding. The configuration for this module is typically part of the DCC profile, but you could overwrite them in IPIPEIF.
