TCI6630K2L: Number of JESD Lanes

Hi,

We are trying to interface ADC & DAC with K2L. What is the exact number of JESD lanes available for ADC & DAC separately?

1st Page of datasheet says that only 4 lanes are available but the DFE userguide shows the below picture:

According to this, 4 separate lanes are available for TX and Rx. So is it whether 8 lanes in total available? 4 for Tx and 4 for Rx? Can these 8 lanes work simultaneously with 7.37 GSPS rate?

There are 4 Tx and 4Rx JESD Lanes for the TCI6630K2L, 66AK2L06 devices.
Because the 2Tx / 2Rx are shared in a common serdes, they require the same Line rate.
There are 2 sets of 2 lanes.

Hello,

There are 4 physical Tx, and 4 physical Rx serdes connections.

The SOC implementation has 2 blocks of 2Tx and 2Rx .

Each block of 2Tx and 2Rx must have a common Line Rate.

In the DFE-JESD portion, there are two implementations of JESD Links, these affect the standard LVDS connections of SYNC OUT, and SYNC IN.

The JESD204 configuration within DFE, can group or separate physical serdes configurations with the JESD Link.
