I'm working with an OMAP3530 on a gumstix overo platform. I'll be trying to use the OMAP to read data of an FPGA, does anyone know if there's any sample code code out there from TI or any other party to do a similar thing with the GPMC?

The Linux code for the OMAP35x EVM has a driver for the Ethernet MAC that uses GPMC to communicate. Not exactly an FPGA but it will give you an idea on how to setup the GPMC module. I didn't find the Ethernet MAC driver but instead I found the NAND flash driver for the gumstix over that uses the GPMC. From what I understand so far about the gumstix overo is that it only accesses the NAND flash (GPMC) at boot up, if this is the case, is it safe to load a GPMC driver module after bootup?
