AM5728: GStreamer files and directory lost

Part Number: AM5728

Hello,

       Actually, i miss makefile and "libs" directory from the path "tisdk/build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/armv7ahf-neon-linux-gnueabi/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/package/usr/src/debug/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/build/gst" . Last day, i can see some library in "libs" directory. I have do nothing. When i see that files are missing then i have also tried to bitbake gstreamer1.0.But i could not get it back.

Regards,

Kishan Patel

  • Hello Kishan,

    Please check in this path:

    /tisdk/build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/armv7ahf-neon-linux-gnueabi/gstreamer1.0/x.x.x-r0/packages-split/gstreamer1.0-dbg/usr/src/debug/gstreamer1.0/x.x.xx-r0/build/
    I guess this is what you are looking for. In gstreamer1.0 there is some hidden files so I would recommend you to click ctrl+h so you could see all the files libs etc.
    If this does not help please execute
    MACHINE=am57xx-evm bitbake -c cleansstate gstreamer1.0
    MACHINE=am57xx-evm bitbake gstreamer1.0

  • Hello Margarita,
    I can already capable to see "libs" at path "/tisdk/build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/armv7ahf-neon-linux-gnueabi/gstreamer1.0/x.x.x-r0/packages-split/gstreamer1.0-dbg/usr/src/debug/gstreamer1.0/x.x.xx-r0/build/".

    But i am talking about different path "/tisdk/build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/armv7ahf-neon-linux-gnueabi/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/package/usr/src/debug/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/build/gst" or "/tisdk/build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/armv7ahf-neon-linux-gnueabi/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/package/usr/src/debug/gstreamer1.0/1.12.2-r0/build/gst/parse". Where makefile and ".libs" available before here.

    I have also followed "bitbake cleanstate" process.
    But still file and directory missing.

    Kishan Patel.
  • Hello Kishan,

    If the folder that you are searching for is with "." this is hidden folder/file. You must press ctrl+h to see it.Which libs you are looking for?

  • Hello Margarita,
    I can understand you.But if i can not see and i to try to execute "cd .libs" command,it should work. Right?
    Moreover, i can not see Makefile here which was available before.

    Kishan Patel.
