OMAP3530 McBSP usage in Linux

Dear All, I have an H.W with OMAP 3530 SOC. I need info about McBSP usage in Linux(I am working with Angstrom distro) There is a McBSP driver in the kernel directory(\arch\arm\plat-omap\mcbsp.c). But I could not be able to initialialize and not able to manage a loopback for instance by using McBSP1 or other McBSP's. Any example, configuration or even any comment will be appreciated.

Unfortunatelly I haven't get any answer. Do u have any idea? Are u working with McBSP?

Hi Tarkan,

I wil use the MCBSP device driver of OMAPL138 and porting it to OMAP3 - http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/42/p/67587/244888.aspx#244888 . But first I want to test this example on OMAPL138 and change it because I dont thing it is good enough.
