I am trying to run EMIF_read_write example available with MCSDK 1.0.0.8 on C6457 EVM. I have downloaded mcsdk from software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html and I found the example of Emifa_readwrite_example.c at C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\pdk_c64x_1_00_00_06\packages\ti\csl\c6457\csl_c6457\example\emifa\src location.
Unfortunately, after running a gel file I found that the MDSTAT2 register of the PSC system contains 0x1E03 value, which means EMIF is in local reset. Due to that I am not able to read/write the EMIF configuration registers at 0x70000000 address.
Could you please help me to resolve this issue, so I can configure the EMIFA for SRAM?
