I have analyzed a certain product, then I found that main processor is OMAP577 of TI.

Can tell me about this processor?

Hi Aither,
OMAP577 is a test, superset device of the AM57xx family. It can be found on EVMs but for your specific needs (and final product) you will need to buy an AM57xx device.

I have made a image processing application using AM5728 EVM, but the performance of the similar image processing application using OMAP577 is very higher than AM5728 EVM. So I hope that know about OMAP577.

Mr Stan, would you send me the datasheet of that OMAP577?

Hi,

OMAP577 is the predecessor of the AM57x family. It is not available on the market thus DM is not available too.

Does your application leverage the EVE hardware? I'm asking because AM5728 doesn't support EVE which in turn could impact image processing speed.

Megahertz performance is otherwise similar between the two devices.
