Jpeg Codec Example

As the JPEG encoder is not included with the defauld DM6437 DVSDK software install I do not believe you will have any examples out of the box, but there should be an example included with the JPEG codec itself.

  Thank you for your response. I have a copy of the JPEG codec and the documentation provided with it talks about the example you are referenceing. However, the example project is not contained in the files I was given.

   Has anyone else worked with the codec and was provided with the example project referenced?

What version of the JPEG codec package are you using? I believe the latest release version (the production version) should include the example project now, though it seems that the evaluation version is still lacking them.

I was given the production version 1.11. From the production site I see that the data sheet says there should be a 1.13 but in the table below that it looks like the newest version i can get for the 643x is 1.11. Any thoughts on which might be the newest? Thanks again for your help.

You are correct that for the DM643x the newest version is 1.11, there are newer versions but they are just adaptations to other platforms by my understanding.

I took a look at the production version internally and it came with the example, though I am not sure it is a distributable version because it does not come with the click wrap agreement installer. You may want to contact whom provided you the production version to see if you can obtain the example, all I can do is say it exists.
