PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: Changing pinmux on the fly

Hi,

Is there a way to change pinmux configuration while running? I´d like to change the configuration of pin AE6 (RTC_PORZn) for a test without having to change the pinmux files.

Installed itens:

GCC ARM Compiler 4.9.3
processor_sdk_rtos_am437x 4.00.00.04
am437x PDK v1.0.7
bios 6.46.05.55

Hi,

From the PINMUX file, you should be able to find out which pin it is and what the mode, pull up, down etc. You can also find out the register address for this.

In the API level, there is a board_init() with PINMUX flag you can call. It used a pre-defined PINMUX file. If you want to change it on fly without changing the file, the most direct way is just writing that PINMUX register with a different value, either can be a few lines of C code or just poke the CCS memory window for this purpose.
