AM3352: Custom MAC address

Hi TI Team,

Because we are going to enter DVT in the next stage, the EVT first pre-uses the default Mac address of Ti,

So, how do we change our Mac address and where? Is it modified in the code or the way to rename?

If it is burned in Linux image because each board has two LANs, is there any way to burn in MAC address to use two and two?

Can I make changes to the MAC with external tools? Thank you.

Hi,

The unique MAC addresses are factory programmed in device e-fuses at production time. They cannot be modified. You can program custom MAC addresses in an external I2C EEPROM and use these instead of the default ones. For this purpose you will need to modify the CPSW driver to load external MAC addresses.

There is no EEPROM on our board and only have emmc.

I want to double check below screenshot, Can the TI MAC address be modified or rename?

If TI mac can modify which I want to know how to change Mac address decryption by emmc.

This has nothing to do with eMMC or Linux image. The MAC addresses are factory programmed in the AM335x e-fuses at production time. They cannot be modified.
