Hello all,

I recently bought an am3359 ICE board.By default the micro USB port is used for debugging.Is it possible to use the CAN_PROFIBUS as debug port?.If yes,which /dev/tty* should I use for it?.Is there any other uart pins available for serial communication other than the microUSB port?

No, this is not possible without significant modifications to the board, which we don't recommend.

USB_MicroAB is using UART3.

You can use UART4 pins, but you need to add HW components to the AM335x ICE board. Refer to the below e2e threads for details:

Hi Pavel,
Thanks alot for the info.I was actually confused whether UART3 or UART5 was being used by USB_MicroAB.Because in the HW User guide,the EVM block diagram shows UART5 to USB_MicroAB.But in the dts file its UART3.
