Linux/AM5728: OpenOCD for SWD memory flashing

Part Number: AM5728

Tool/software: Linux

we Have connected an external IC to GPIOs of Sitara, we would like to flash the memory's IC thru this OpenOCD library and GPIO using SWD standard.

we Compile the lasted Version of OpenOCD (10.0.0.0), all looks fine except than Sitara is not reading back anything. but connecting a Scope to SWD lines, all looks fine, we can see than Sitara is sending the Command(Init and Read IC Informational), and the external IC is responding with the correct information (Requested IC Information), but Sitara never gets!

we already review the OpenOCD Code in different way, but looks all OK, Hardware looks fine too!

it is any special driver/software than we can use? or any recommendation?

Thank you!

  • Luis,

I'm sorry, I'm not real familiar with OpenOCD as it is a community package that we don't typically support. Could you please describe in more detail how you are using it with Sitara? What interfaces on Sitara are you using? Which of these interfaces do you believe is causing the issue? Maybe you could post a simple block diagram?

As I mentioned. OpenOCD is a pretty active community and you might have better luck posting over there.

I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

    Thanks,
    Ron
