I get load error when I try to load Hello World Program from CCS version 8.2 debugger ?

Hi Amer,

Have you set the CCS project correctly? You need to specify core, platform, etc.
Are you starting new on TDA3 development?

Hi Rishabh

Following is my setup of CCS Hello_World Project:

What might be the problem?

There is no linker command file.

When I installed CCS, I think it selects XDS100 Debug Probe.

When I created the project, I selected XDS2xx as shown above. This is because I'm using XDS200 Debug Probe.

Yes, I'm starting new development. How can I learn TDA3x platform?

Hi Amer,

Endianness should be LE.
You can pick Processor SDK Vision from http://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-TDAX to start the development.

Hi Amer,

Have you set SYSBOOT properly? For CCS SYSBOOT should be 00000000 10000001.

Rishabh,

I set SYSBOOT[0:7} to 00000000
I set SYSBOOT[8:15] to 10000001

I get same error.

Hi Amer,

We use makefile based builds and not CCS projects, so you might face multiple issues before getting "Hello World" working for you.
Also all drivers/libararies, etc. provided by TI will be based on makefiles and hence it will be very tedious to create CCS projects.

Can you run the prebuilt Vision SDK binaries and see if you get any valid UART output.
You can refer to PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_04_00_00\vision_sdk\docs\UserGuides\VisionSDK_UserGuide_TDA2xx.pdf for more details.
