Which SDK are you using? Is this vision SDK? or PSDKLA with radio?

Hi Subhajit,

Sorry, my question wasn't clear. Let me give more detail.

Using the DTB table in the below link, I am looking for 'J6 EVM + 10inch AUO LCD panel' which would probably map to a DTB file 'dra7-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtb' which currently is not found or not officially supported.

Was wondering if there is any way to get the LCD working with J6 EVM. We are currently using Android OS build 6AM.3.1-P1.

For J6,
LG and OSD are the officially supported platforms
dra7-evm-lcd-lg.dtb (J6 Rev-G)
dra7-evm-lcd-osd.dtb (J6 Rev-H)

Did you try using AUO LCD combination:
dra7-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtb and see any issues?

i can see
dra7-evm-fpd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts
Includes (cpu board , jamr and auo panel dt )

As per the following app note , looks like that combination is functional in linux( and should work for android too )

There is no 'dra7-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtb'.

So I'm asking if there is a known patch to create the DTB and support the display on J6 EVM.

Also I need the LCD to work not the FPDLink display.

The problem is we've already purchased AUO LCD to replace the broken touchscreen that came with the J6 EVM and need to find a way to make it work.

With the reference of "arch/arm/boot/dts/dra71-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts",
Create one (arch/arm/boot/dts/dra7-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts) including
#include "dra7-evm.dts"
#include "dra7x-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtsi"
(you might have to configure gpio for J6 EVM accordingly) Look how it was enabled for DRA71as you might have to update gpio/touchscreen for DRA7 EVM accordingly

Also I need touchscreen working on the LCD as well not just the display.

as long as you define the dtb creation at : arch/arm/boot/dts/Makefile

"make dtbs" should generate all the valid dtb files

For touchscreen>>
Driver and configuration should already be part of the kernel
Ref patches These are present in 6AO.1.x you need to port to 6AM.1.3-P1

Driver code >> git.omapzoom.org/
Enable driver in android config fragment and rebuild image >> CONFIG_TOUCHSCREEN_GOODIX=y
Add the firmware >> git.omapzoom.org/.../
Add touch firmware in device project >> git.omapzoom.org/.../

It should work
