TDA2PXEVM: Exception on trying to softreset CPDMA from NSP

Hi,

I am working with an ECU with TDA2p. I have integrated NSP (nsp_gmacsw_4_12_00_00_ksz9031rnx).

GMACSW_open() in NSP tries to soft reset CPDMA as below:

"CSL_FINS(GMACSW_REGS->CPDMA.CPDMA_SOFT_RESET, GMACSW_CPDMA_SOFT_RESET_SOFT_RESET, CSL_GMACSW_CPDMA_SOFT_RESET_SOFT_RESET_RESET);"

An exception occurs with execution of above line. What can possibly cause an exception upon trying to soft reset CPDMA in TDA2p?

Any suggestions to debug ?

Hello Tejeswini,

This is mostly due to clocks are not enabled for the GMAC module. Please open CCS memory browser and check 0x48484000 is accessible to the core. If not please enable clocks of GMAC from bootloader or GEL files

Thanks. That is rite. Figured that out with 0x00070000 in CM_GMAC_GMAC_CLKCTRL. And, that exception is resolved. Going ahead i have another issue now.. Should i close this and open a new thread ?
