I'm streaming H264 "standard definition" video with our custom DM368 based board. When I use NFS for the RFS the video streams fine and looks great. However, when I put the RFS on the SD card or NAND flash, the video has green and purple flashes or is distorted. It's not in every frame, but as a guess about 1 in 10 are corrupted.
I tried using the encode demo program to save a 10 sec H264 file, then played it back with VLC. No glitches in the file. Also I should mention that I've increased the clocks for the DM368 to run the CPU at 432MHZ and the DDR2 at 340MHZ.
I'm posting this because I thought that someone might have some idea what is the problem. I'm going to slow the clocks back to the DM365 speed and try that.
So...
1) My streaming app works fine with RFS on NFS.
2) My streaming app glitches with SD or NAND RFS.
3) Encode demo creates a good file when usign SD RFS.
Thanks,
John A
