Hello Kaka,

Please refer to the following guide:

software-dl.ti.com/.../Foundational_Components_IPC.html

The examples will be in the "DRA7XX" folders, "DRA7XX_bios_elf" for Host BIOS examples and "DRA7XX_linux_elf" for Host Linux examples.

Hi Sahin,

Thank you for sharing the Link but this page for the Linux running.
I would like to know the usage when Host(A15) running on TI-RTOS. Also, I have found the following page but I could not build the IPC example on Windows environment.

Refer to the section "Build IPC RTOS examples" of the Quick Start Guide for the Host RTOS examples. In summary, you will need to do the following:

1. Configure the build environment in
<RTOS_SDK_INSTALL_DIR>/processor_sdk_rtos_<platform>_x_xx_xx_xx directory
$ cd <RTOS_SDK_INSTALL_DIR>/processor_sdk_rtos_<platform>_x_xx_xx_xx
$ setupenv.bat
2. Start the top level build:
$ gmake ipc_examples

If you get any errors doing the above, please share what they are. And please share which version of Processor SDK you are using.

Hi Sahin,

Thank you for your response.
I could build the project on my side. Also I could build the ex11_ping project for A15 and SMP M4(ipu1), but it could not run it on AM574x.
Here is the build project.

Of course, I checked the documents as following but it was old environments.

In addition to this, it did not explained about the case of host and ipu1. Could you please show us the way to debug it?

Especially, I could not use the ROV tool. When I used the Runtime Object Viewer and tried to connect the target, it showed the error of " ROV _connect failed to start agent: socket error". How should we resolve this issue?

Hi Sahin,

I could work the ROV by using the ROV Classic and set the compiler, device family and XDC tools at RTSC windows.

When I opened the ROV classic, it requested to us to input those setting because they were emptied. So, I am not sure this is correct to use the ROV classic.
So, I request to update the release note for PSDK RTOS in order to use the ROV view.

ROV Classic is the correct module to use. It should work as is, can you take a screenshot of the message you were seeing?

We are working on improving our documentation to better show how to load and run these examples. We will hopefully have them available soon.
