Compiler/Simulator for C66x in Linux present in CCS v5?

I found CCS v5 setup_CCS_5.0.0.00095.tar.gz, as I want to use my Linux PC for evaluating C66x.

But does this package include code generation and simulation tools for the very recently announced C66x?

I suppose v5 is the first CCS release that runs on Linux?

Or is there a v4 version that contains compiler/simulator for C66x?

    Bert,

    We've not yet released the simulator package, but will be doing so in the coming weeks along with compiler and software support packages (drivers, examples, etc). Look for an announcement soon on the forum.
