Hi, I'm new to Ti Processor's. I have few questions on file transfer between windows PC to OMAP-L138 processor to SD Card/NAND.

1. How to copy files from PC to OMAP-L138 using filezilla?.

2. How to transfer file from PC to OMAP-L138 processor using winapps\send.exe?.

3. I wanted to calculate throughput from end to end i.e. From file receiving (i.e. Ethernet/Serial) to writing into SD Card. So How to transfer files from PC to OMAPL138 via ethernet and Serial Communication. Do I need to run "winapps\recv.exe" file in OMAP-L138 processor in order to receive the ethernet data and then write into SD Card?..

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

To provide information for questions 1 & 3 you should share what OS are you running on the OMAP-L138?

2. You could use USB, Ethernet, UART.

Hi Jordan, Thank you for the quick response. OMAP-L138 I’m using Host OS Windows 10(Teraterm), Target srarterware. Please correct me if starterware is not correct. Thank you, Ramesh

It is still recommended to use Processor SDK RTOS:
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Also I am notifying the RTOS team to elaborate.

Thanks for the response Sahi Okur. I'm using Processor RTOS SDK/CCS v8, first I'm trying to read (Serial Comm UART-USB) data from PC and write into NAND Flash/SD Card. After reading UART_read data, how write into SD Card/NAND flash?. What API do I need to use to write the received data into NAND/SD?. Can you provide example writing into SD Card/NAND Flash?.
