Hello,
I use the IEP timer and capture events ("Industrial Ethernet Timer Mode Mapping") to timestamp incoming data.
That all works fine. However, the IEP timer obviously overflows and restarts after about 21.47(...) seconds.
Is there a "best way" (example) to track the seconds long-term (ideally with it's own 32-bit value) while not losing the 5ns accuracy for the ns/us part of the timestamp?
Thanks,
Dusty.
