CCS/TMDSDSK6713: Problem with finding files

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm having a problem with finding a c file (i.e. c6713dskinit.c) , a header file (c6713dskinit.h), a asm file (vectors_poll) and a support folder. Can anyone help me out with their directories which I could not find?

Shree,

Those files are not part of CCS. They would most likely be part of the board support library provided by the board manufacturer. If you go to the link below you can download the board support library listed under "target code".
c6000.spectrumdigital.com/.../

I couldn't find a c file (i.e. c6713dskinit.c) , a header file (c6713dskinit.h) in the board support library listed under "target code". I am unable to use comm_poll(),input_sample() and output_sample(). Can you help me to use these functions?

Are you following instructions in a book? When I search that file I get references to a book called "Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the C6713 and C6416 DSK". That book seems to come with some examples. I found another E2E thread that mentions that the support folder comes with the book as well as other content needed such as CSL.

I can find c6713dskinit.c searching on Google on a number of university websites:
www.comm.utoronto.ca/.../c6713dskinit.c

This file does not appear to come from TI or Spectrum digital. Maybe it comes with the book as well? Where did you get the book? Did the software not come with it?

Yes I was trying the example from above mentioned book. I have seen c6713dskinit.c but the header file c6713dskinit.h is creating a problem i.e. they didn't mentioned about c6713dskinit.h header file , because of that I'm having problem to take an audio input. Can you help me to take an audio input ?

Googling the header file I can find it here:
www.engr.colostate.edu/.../c6713dskinit.h

It is probably best for me to move this thread to the device forum. I am a tools person and I am not going to be able to help you with developing on this device.
