TI AC3 decoder throws error

Hello,

I am using TI AC3 decoder on DM642 evaluation board. For one particular AC3 stream, the decoder throws the error "-20" (BitSkip over run input buffer) as a result of which the decoded audio is corrupted. The same stream plays fine on standard players (VLC, Elecard etc). What might be the reason for the issue?

Unfortunately the DM642 based codecs have largely been replaced by more modern C64x+ based codecs on the newer Davinci platforms, as such support on the older DM642 codecs is limited. I took a look around internally on this and was unable to come up with a good response for the error you are getting, perhaps someone else on the forum can provide some insight.
