Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65217
Hi,
I am using AM3356BZCZ80 and PMIC TPS65271D, I want to know is there any method or way to change the PMIC DCDC2 voltage ? if yes share me the steps to do so.

Ptm

Hi Ptm,
Adjusting the DCDC2 voltage only requires some I2C communication to the PMIC registers. Can I ask what your goals are? And what OS do you plan to use?
Hi,
I need to change the power up sequence of PMIC so I am looking for document or steps to change it.
FYI, the power up sequence of the PMIC is factory programmed and cannot be changed. You can only choose version A, B, C, or D of the PMIC with the default settings. Can I get more details on what power sequence changes you wish to make?

Hi,
If you see the AM335x datasheet , the PMIC power-up sequence is not matching the power-up sequence of AM335x, so i have one question
Is it really required to maintain power sequence for AM335x ?, if yes then how to change the sequence in PMIC to get desired sequence?
There may be something one of us is mis-understanding. The combination of TPS65217 and AM335x have been sold for many years. Can you tell me if the AM3356 you are using is ZCZ or ZCE? What part of the power up sequence does not match?
Hi,
I am using ZCZ package, if you see RTC disabled sequence, All 1.8V should come first, next DDR,then 3.3V and core/mpu voltage but if you see PMIC IC LDO1 (1.8V) is first next DCDC1, then again LDO3(1.8V), next 3.3V and core. So if i want to change PMIC sequence to match RTC disabled sequence can you tell me how to do it?
