RTOS/AM5728: usb 3.0 documentation in rtos am5728 linux sdk

hello,

I'm doing a project on AM5728, in that I want to transfer data from sdcard to other external device through USB 3.0(Not USB 2.0). How can i collect the data at the USB 3.0 ??

As I'm new to this processor, Can you please suggest me how to use only USB 3.0 for data transfer.

Please share a link or document for my understanding.

What software are you using? RTOS or Linux? It isn't clear from your post.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification! What you need is the USB host example with mass storage class (MSC) support. The AM5728 is the USB host and it runs a program to read/write the SD card through USB interface. The SD needs the FATFS support.

We have user guide here: software-dl.ti.com/.../Device_Drivers.html. This also applies to AM57x USB.

For the test you need a TI AM5728 IDK EVM (note AM5728 GP EVM is not supported in the case). The test project is USB_HostMsc_idkAM572x_armExampleProject
