Hi,
We are using AM3358 GPMC to communicate with a Spartan 6 FPGA. It is currently configured as 16-bit non-multiplexed for asynchronous single access reads/writes. I have referred to the datasheet (AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 Microprocessors (MPUs) Technical Reference Manual (Rev. J)) tables 7-46 and 7-48 to try to figure out how to set the timing configurations, but I am still confused. My understanding is that the timing configurations is based on the timing parameters of the memory device, in this case it would be the FPGA. How do I determine such things like Read Access time from CSn low, Write cycle time, etc. of the FPGA to know what to set the timing configurations of the GPMC?
