Hello, I would like to ask the community for help in selecting a SRIO Switch for the 4-SRIO lanes on the 66AK2H14. I want to use all four lanes to connect to 3-other FPGA's. I have found the DS125MB203 but not sure that is a good fit. I anyone can help please let me know.

HI, I did a quick search I could not find a SRIO switch that has 4 ports. The switches I did find have about 500+ pin BGA and 16-ports.

I do not believe that TI makes any SRIO switch devices. The DS125MB203 that you mention is a dual-port SERDES mux / fan-out buffer. In the past we have seen customers use SRIO switches from IDK.

What is the bandwidth requirement for the SRIO ports to the FPGAs. The lanes can be used individually, one to each FPGA. If this meets your bandwidth requirement, you would not need a separate SRIO switch IC.

HI, no need we have decided to use a separate SRIO for each FPGA as you recommended.

Joe,

Be sure to implement your board such that lane 0 is always active. This lane must be active during the SERDES automatic impedance calibration at SERDES initialization.
