Linux: APPE 'per-channel EQ ' algorithm bug

Tool/software: Linux

In our system , VIS version " REL.VIS.01.50.23.01" , we have some test on APPE  algorithm

but in "per-channel EQ " test  ,  the only  fifth frequency band  (about 500Hz ) , EQ don;t work .

I want  to make sure that  is there any  bug ?

Thank you !

  • Hi,
I am not aware of any bug in the "per-channel EQ" (i.e. EQ_MULTI module). I just ran a quick sanity test on Channels 0 and 1 (applying gains on the fifth band), and I see the gain seems to be applied correctly.
Can you please provide more information on the behavior you are seeing? Does the gain not get applied in your setup?

    Please provide the following:
    1) How many channels are in the pipeline where the EQ_MULTI module is located?
    2) Does the fifth band not work on each of the channels, or only specific ones?
    3) Please let us know the exact settings you have set for the EQ_MULTI module, and perform an "eqmultstatus" and include all the information that is printed from this status query.
    4) Can you include the details of your test that is failing?

    Thanks,
    Danny
  • Hi,

I just wanted to follow up again. Can you please provide more details on the behavior you are seeing on your setup? Do you see similar behavior when running this on the TI EVM?

    Thanks,
    Danny
