TMS320C6455: Add a backup memory

Hello,

I'm working with the DSK6455 board. Now, I need connect a memory expansion (8 Gbytes) for backup function, but I don´t find the correct way to do that. Can you help me?

Hi Manuel,
There is not a good interface on the TMS320C6455 that can support 8Gbytes of memory. The expansion connector gives you access the EMIF and PCI but the EMIF interface wouldn't support an expansion that big. PCI may be an option but we don't have anything that plugs into that connector directly.

Hi Bill,
thank you for your help. Currently I'm developing a board based on the processor TMS320C6745, and the need of backup memory has solution with this processor.
