Linux/AM5716: Linux USB driver

Hi,

I have a customer who is looking for processor with USB3.0 and interested in AM57x.
They wants to read/write data from application by LBA(Logical Block Addressing) units.
Is this possible to do such access using our Linux SDK USB driver?
If not, can user modify the driver easily ?

Hi KoT,

This query is not TI specific.

In Linux kernel stack, the USB layer is under neath the block device layer. The USB MSC devices are represented as device nodes /dev/sd<X>, which is no difference from any other SATA drives.

So, yes, you can access by LBA in Linux, without driver modification.
