Linux/AM5728: Application GUI creation

Hi Margarita ,
Thanks for your support,I already created an app which convert an image to rgb array but if i run the app it process a preset image(python code).I need to select image from a list and then convert that image .So there must be GUI inside the app( if i run the application it needs a button and a window to select and view the images ).I can't see the script or any useful things from the directory you mentioned.
I noticed one more thing ,there is no header file related to qt5 or no gui creating python modules.

Did i need a host pc loaded with linux to develop the apps ? or can i do this without host pc ?

Hello,

What you mean by "there is no header file related to qt5". The headers are in /usr/include/qt5 in the filesystem. Libs are under /usr/lib/qt5.
What is the software release that you are using?
My point to point you the above demo is that it is using QT QWidget for user interface .
Per my understanding you want to use something like QtPy. But PyQt requires X11 display server.
You could try to use this guide:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Linux_Training:_Hands_on_with_QT
to create a qt application.

Hi Margarita ,

There is no directory qt5 inside includes(pls check the image).libs are there in the /usr/lib/qt5.

I'm using 'CL-SOM-AM57x Linux package' from the link below

I tried to install pyqt which is not possible  due to the errors related to 'pthon2.7 min lib' and 'std lib'.

I already saw the link that you provided.Is it possible with  host linux computer only?
