In AM335X can we have control over the GPIO from the Pre boot-loader level(from spl)

Hi Eby,

Yes, I think it should be possible to control GPIO module from MLO/u-boot-spl.

You have size restrictions as MLO/u-boot-spl is loaded in internal RAM memory, make sure the size of the file still fit.

Hi,

I am using AM3356 processor. We want to use a GPIO at the SPL level. Once it is being used during SPL Execution, it should not be accessed from the Uboot or kernel. Is it possible to implement such thing?
Also, whether a write protect (WP) can be overwritten from JTAG?

I think no, I can not find such functionality supported by AM335x GPIO module.

AM335x GPIO module has no WP
