Hi Champs
In the MCU domain we have a block called CPSW I assume that is the single Ethernet port that is part of the MCU island?
Thanks

Hi Biser
I assume it only can send the packets to the CPPI which then goes to the A53, unless it can forward packets to the PRU or some other internal blocks by using the ALE then it makes sense as a switch? I think the ALE table size is 64 entries correct? I only find the register for the table entry which was 6 bits that is why i assume it is 64 entries.
Thanks

Hi Mohsen,
Does your use case need a switch or router/bridge? Can you describe your use case a little bit?
The ALE will be passing/sending packets to/from DDR via a DMA resource, it does not have the ability to send to another internal processor.
Best Regards,
