CPU Load Graph Questions

I recently upgraded to CCS4.2 and have the following questions regarding the CPU load graph.

1. When the CPU Load graph is first started it comes up with no grids and no background color. If I change these settings they do appear in the currently running graph, but they do not "stick". In otherwords, if I stop the debug session and restart it, the CPU Load graph comes up with no background color and no grid lines. I have also tried saving the perspective with these settings set but it does not help.

2. Autoscale seems to work, but I can't reverse it. (rest auto scale).

3. The RTA time unit always comes up in "time" but shows "ticks".

Can someone help me with a resolution to these issues?

I could reproduce 1 and 3 here:

Since these issues refer to DSP/BIOS, I will move this thread to the BIOS forum so they may have additional comments about number 2 above, ok?

I also couldn't reproduce number 2, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

For number 3, BIOS 5 logs don't include a timestamp by default, so there's no timescale for the graph to go on. Instead, I think the numbers on the x-axis are sort of sequence numbers, corresponding to the sequence numbers you see in the Raw Logs view for the STS "events". Since the STS objects are polled every 500ms by default, I think you could multiply those values by 500ms to get time. That is, divide the x-axis by two to get approximate seconds. I'll add this note to the bug report.

Rafael,

I noticed that both of your bug reports were rejected for being filed in the wrong place. I would have assumed that the system would have automatically re-filed them in the proper location. Where can I get an update on these issues?

The bugs were re-filed under the numbers SDSCM00039163 and SDSCM00039168.

The fixes weren't included in CCSv4.2.3, therefore they are planned for 4.2.4. There is not yet a date for its release, but it will happen soon.
