Hello,

I have two questions related to TIDEP0025.

1, From the document, it seems to be nesessary to download EtherCAT slave stack and access the source file.

　　　If we are not ETG member, Are there any information how to run TIDEP0025 demo(Endat 2.2)?

2, I would like to run TIDEP0025 demo using tamagawa encoder also.

Is there any other necessary parts other than the following?

· CPU evaluation board: TMDSIDK 437x

· RS485 interface board: RS485-HF-DPLX-EVM

· BLDC motor: BLY 171 D - 24 V - 4000 / Anaheim Automation

· Tamagawa encoder: TS 5667 N 320 / Tamagawa Seiki Co., Ltd.

I am checking internally on how to run the demo if you are not an ETG member. Will respond here when I get a response.

For the Tamagawa encoder question:

Section 8 of the TIDEP0025 Design Guide gives instructions on how to switch the encoder being used in the TIDEP0025 demo.
TIDEP-0101 (http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/tidudj7) is a full TI Design that deals with the Tamagawa interface in a more stand-alone fashion
The Industrial Drives package (http://www.ti.com/tool/PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW) contains the software necessary to run the Tamagawa diagnostic
The Tamagawa diagnositc User's Guide can be found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/PRU_ICSS_Industrial_Drives#Tamagawa_diagnostic

Looking at the TIDEP-0101 hardware section, it appears like your list of hardware should be enough to run the Tamagawa example.

The response from my colleague is that you will need to become an ETG member in order to get the EtherCAT Slave Stack code to run the EtherCAT portion of the demo.

Following the links on www.ethercat.org website leads to this page (www.ethercat.org/.../membership_application.html) for the membership application process.
