TMS320C6745: SPI flashing

Hellooo,

We have written an LED toggling program using TMS320C6745. We want to load this program into Flash memory and boot from Flash. We triedin OMAP- L137 EVM. It was working fine. The same procedure is not functioning in our custom board. WHat are the steps?

    Could you specify what SW release and version you are using? Is it Processor SDK RTOS?

    Version : pdk_omap_1_0_4
    spi_flash_writer.out is loaded via CCS, but the prompt to load the respective out file for our application is not coming. It is saying missing source file \oe\bld\build something related to ARM9

    you have not provided enough information for us to help you. What is the difference between TI EVM and your platform? Have you changed the flash memory, SDRAM or the CS to which the SPI flash is connected. Have you checked to confirm from boot mode register settings that the DSP is connect to SPI master boot. Are you using the PRocessor SDK RTOS secondary boot loader or booting directly from the ROM bootloader using AIS configuration. Is the LED toggle running from on chip memory or SDRAM memory. What happens when you connect to the DSP on the custom board when the boot fails? Is the DSP executing code in ROM memory or in application memory space.
