Hi,

it seems that the pinmux utility tool for TMS320C6747 is no longer available from www-s.ti.com/.../sprab06.zip

Is this DSP soon to be obsoleted?

Should I use a different DSP or is the pinmux tool now embedded into CCS ??!?!

Hi Nicolas,

TMS320C6747 status is active. TI has no plans to immediate plans to EOL TMS320C6747 and the devices are ok to order and ship. See our General Quality Guidelines (section 20) for more information on product longevity. We cannot give a year that we will EOL because there are no current plans to EOL.
You can download the last release of Pin Mux Tool at:

and all release at:

Hi,
The Pinmux tool at www.ti.com/.../PINMUXTOOL and at: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../TI_PinMux_Tool don't have the TMS320C6747 supported.

www.ti.com/.../sprab06a.pdf mentionned that the pinmux tool for TSM320C6747 is available at www-s.ti.com/.../sprab06.zip but that link not longer work.

Could you please provide the sprab06.zip zip file??

The document sprab06a.pdf is nine years old. This links described there are not actual. Use links to PINMUXTOOL from my previous post please.

I guess I have not explained the issue very clearly.

The Pinmux tool (web-cloud version) does not support the TMS320C6747, hence I was after the zip file

so it seems that the pinmux tool does not support any of the TMS320C6xx devices

Do you know if there are alternatives or if the pinmux tool will be updated to include the TMS320C6xxx devices??
