I have XDS510 USB simulator, and it can work well with DM642. In my new project, the DM648 is used. While does it also support DM648? Need I buy another XDS560 simulator?

While I have not tried it personally, I do see a configuration in cc_setup for a DM647 or DM648 using the XDS510USB emulator from Spectrum Digital.
Thank you for your help anyway.
Could anyone can give a concrete answer about this problem?
XDS510USB is probably the most common emulator I see being used, I would be incredibly suprised if any board we offer is not supported by it (at least for long until a driver update is done), and this is no exception. I know the DM648 works with even the older XDS510PP so although I have not tried with an XDS510USB either I have no reason to believe it would not work, and since there is a CCS configuration in there for it, it must have worked for someone at some point. I can say for certain that the device does not require a XDS560 class emulator, that only provides additional speed in debugging. Have you tried it, what type of errors are you getting?
I have used an XDS510PP+ and XDS510USB, both Spectrum Digital emulators, with the DM648 EVM.
Thank all of you for help!
I can draw the conclusion that XDS510 supports DM648 with proper
driver.
