TMDSDC3359: PLC Development Kit for DLMS/COSEM

Hi,

My company needs a PLC Development kit which allows us to deploy communication between Data Concentrator and e-Meter. I want to know if the product TMDSDC3359 can help to achieve that goal.

The communication between the Data Concentrator and e-Meter must be DLSM/COSEM in the application layer and TCP/IP in the transport layer.

    Thanks for your interest.

    TMDSDC3359 is online only as a hardware reference, however there is no support for this design. The board can still be purchased through the TI store at https://www.ti.com/store/ti/en/p/product/?p=TMDSDC3359.

     We are working on a new TI Design for Data Concentrator showcasing 6LowPAN, RS-485 and potentially Broadband PLC as communication between Data Concentrator and Node (E-meters as example). This new design might be another option for you to explore. We are expecting this to be online in 1Q’19.”

    It is good news for us this new design. Although I want to know if there is possible to explore the DMLS/COSEM protocol with these new design.

    The new design support G3 or Prime PLC protocol.
