DM6441-dianostic tool to test device functionality

Hello Champs,

 

Please let me know if there are any diagnostic tools (for example like ITBOK for OMAP) provided for DM6441 from TI or any other third parties?

Customer’s requirement is to design a custom board using DM6441 and after the board bring up he needs to diagnose the total device functionality.

    The only tools I can think of that resemble this are the diagnostic tools posted on Spectrum Digital website; however, this are written for DM6446 EVM and are the source code is not offered.

    As Juan says there are tests to validate the DM6446 DVEVM board from Spectrum Digital, though the link is now seemingly hidden on their DVEVM rev D support page it is still up here.

    Note that source is not provided for these, as it was not meant to be used in production, but only as a board test like the ITBOK for OMAP. I would imagine that once you get U-Boot and than a kernel image going on the custom DM6441 board you could fairly quickly put together a test suite from within Linux, I believe this is how TI intends to have customers validate their own hardware.
