In C5510 DSK, can I use memory expansion connector to connect ADC directly???

I want to use C5510 DSK to read data from ADC7813, whcih has 9 output pin(8 data pins and 1 busy signal pin) and 3 control pins.

Since the HPI Expansion Connector has only 3 GPIO pins, can I use the data bus D[31:0] in "Memory Expansion Connector", or HD[15:0] in HPI Expansion Connector, connecting the ADC pins???

If yes, how can I read data from or write control signal to D[31:0] or HD[15:0]???

By the way, which connector can connect "Memory Expansion Connector"(80 pins) and ADC7813????

I would recommned using HD[15:0]. HD and IO pins are using same I/O cells structures and be in high impedance at OFF mode.

Also a heads up is to handle the bus holder on HD pins correctly to your needed.

Can you tell me how to read/write the HD[15:0] pins, so I can do the sampling using AD7813?

Is there some relevant material or example program on how to read/write the HD[15:0] pins?
