TMS320C6678: Packet Flow

Part Number: TMS320C6678

I need to know the packet transfer from the core to core and core to peripheral using Multicore Navigator. Specifically the part played by the Packet DMA in this process. I have already read the TI multicore Navigator document. It would be helpful if any one answers the question in the simplified way since I am a beginner.

Hi,

There are CPPI and QMSS drivers inside Processor SDK RTOS for C6678 (software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html). The same should apply to C6670. You can try the examples following the user guides:
software-dl.ti.com/.../Device_Drivers.html
software-dl.ti.com/.../Device_Drivers.html

For the peripherals using packet DMA, the driver examples are:

Hi,
Thanks Eric, My doubts are cleared regarding QMSS. I still didn't understand CPPI. Like QMSS , there is not a document having detailed explanation about the CPPI . Please let me know if there are any detailed document about CPPI.
