Linux/AM5728: cannot setup linux sdk

when trying to setup linux sdk, I run ./setup.sh

but failed. the result as the below:

could you please tell me how to solve the problem?

Hi Shihao,

I suggest you to check whether you have installed the following packets: xinetd, tftpd, minicom, dos2unix, lrzsz and lzop. Also check whethe the path to them is exported.

hello,

I tried to sudo apt-get install tftpd but failed

Is there any other method to work around it? I mean does IT provide these items

tftpd nfs-kernel-server minicom build-essential libncurses5-dev autoconf automake dos2unix lrzsz u-boot-tools

so that I can download and install them directly?

Shihao,

TI has no own distributions of listed tools. Seems you have some issue with repository but this is Ubuntu specific issue.
I searched in the net for some tips about repository verification and configuration:
askubuntu.com/.../how-do-i-find-out-which-repository-a-package-comes-from

linuxconfig.org/how-to-select-the-fastest-apt-mirror-on-ubuntu-linux

thank you. It seems I can update ubuntu already. Now I try to link the PC to target AMxx EVM. I can ping to EVM successfully but the install information shows that cannot detect EVM. I will try it again.
