Hello evrybody ,

so im doing work with Sitara AM65xx IDK  as internship at Texas Instruments . Currently i have to make same Diagnostics  with MCSPI to check how is featurs ,Is there real data received on the SPI interface? . The programm should be created on CodeComposer Studio 8.2 , so the problem i do  same Work for the first time and i dont have much experince , could anyone help me pleas or ust give me same advices or examples (how to start ?...) ? iwill be thankfull.

    We will be glad to help you get started with this project. Please feel free to reach out offline in case the links that we provide here don`t help you get the setup working at your end.

    To get this setup, you will first need to install Processor SDK RTOS 5.01 and refer to the links here:
    software-dl.ti.com/.../Board_EVM_Abstration.html

    Please also review the training that we have created online on training.ti.com and from the link that I will send to you offline. We are in the process of uploading audio recorded training material that will address such setup questions but it may not be completed until 1Q19.

    thanks a lot for the quick request , i m allready finish with the setup and install SDK RTOS 5.01 and i tested same easy programms on Code Composer Studio 8.2 like (HelloWorld ...) , now i have to start with diagnostic for MCSPI , and maybe can u show me or send me same examples , how can i writ a programe to test my MCSPI :).

    Anas,

    There is an example driver in pdk_am65xx_1_0_2\packages\ti\drv\spi\example\mcspi_slavemode in which this has been tested. You will need to use gmake to build the spi driver examples for the SOC and the core that you wish to run this from.

    thanks again for the request , so i was trying to test the code on Code composer studio with load on the core and run ,, butt i dont find the Output File for debugging , how can u show me pleas how should i test and where??
