RTOS/AM6548: Why the CCS8.2 cannot detect the AM6?

Hi .

 #1. I'm very familiar with CCS setting for TI EP product, even for AM3/4/5.

 #2. Now, I want to let my CCS 8.2 to set the Target configuration, please see the attached 2 pictures.

  Why I cannot set the AM6 for my Target Config?

  ps. I have re-start my CCS8.2 for letting it detects the UIA/XDS/PDK/NDP ...etc.

    I have tried to re-install the CCS8.2, why it cannot detect the "pdk_am65xx_1_0_2" for AM6?

    RioChan,

    The AM65x device was launch after Processor SDK 8.2 release was completed by the CCS IDE team so the Sitara emulation and chip support package that comes with default CCSv8.2 does not include files corresponding to the device by default.  In order to obtain the Sitara device support package, users are required to perform a CCS software update as described in the AM65x EVM HArdware setup guide with CCS that is available here:

    Note:  Check section "10.3.1.3.1.1. Install the latest Emulation Package and Device Support Package" which is an additional requirement for AM65x development.

    We plan to have AM65x Device support integrated in CCS v8.3 so it is available out of the box after CCS installation
