Active Sync over RNDIS

Hi,

I have just started working on the Mistral board (OMAP 3530).

I'm using wince6, and I would like to get the Active Sync to work with the RNDIS, over a USB connection.

Is this possible, and how can it be done ??

Regards,

Yaron

  • Hi,

    To be more specific,

I have managed to get an ip connection over usb with the RNDIS.

However, I can only do ping.

    Anything else fails..

    - WSAStartup - gets an error: Socket error (#10091): Network subsystem is unavailable.

    - And also the ActiveSync and the repllog.exe do not work.

A strange thing that I have noticed when doing ipconfig is:

    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-24-00-00-00-00

Does anyone have any idea regarding this ?

  • Hi,

ActiveSync works over an USB serial profile and cannot be used over an RNDIS connection. Make sure you choose the "USB Serial" profile in WinCE's catalog to be able to connect through ActiveSync.
