AMIC110: What is boot pin logic for?

Hi team,

My customer start to do Ethercat slave module based on AMIC110.

And they learn our SCH and TIDA ,link as below. And find below pic in the SCH, they are not sure if the SN74LVC541ADGVR and SN74LVC2G66YZPR must be in their board. What is effect of this functions? Could you have any suggestions?

Hi,

This logic is necessary to isolate the SYSBOOT resistors from the PRU MII signals during normal operation.

Thanks! So it need two SN74LVC541ADGVR and one SN74LVC2G66YZPR, three logic device, right?

Yes, if you are following the AMIC110 ICE design you will need all 3 IC's.

Hi Team，

If customer used RMII interface, so it don;t need RCLK signal. And customer don't need LED.
I think SN74LVC2G66YZPR device don't need on their board, right?

The important thing is that they keep the SYSBOOT signals isolated from other external connections at reset release time.

SN74LVC541ADGVR can let SYSBOOT signals isolated form other external connections. But what is effort of SN74LVC2G66YZPR ?

So they don't have SCH now.
